Albergo Hotel

It’s so much better than it looks on the website. Beautiful design, excellent customer service, and delicious food.

Gorgeous, elegant hotel. Large, lovely room with huge bathroom. They gave us some amazing rose bath salts. There were many restaurants and relaxation spaces within the hotel itself. Fantastic angel food cake. Beautiful rooftop restaurants. Very nice food. The staff was attentive, well-mannered, excellent English language skills.

The hotel is definitely the best in the whole country, miles ahead of the competition ( I have been to grey - 4 seasons - kempinski - IC Phoenicia throught the years). Loved the atmosphere (cosy and full of character), and the service was great and a great improvement from my previous stay (very hospitable and courteous staff). The hotels location is also amazing. We were 2 minutes (walking) from some of the best restaurants and cafes in town and 5 minutes (by car) to the remaining best restaurants and cafes in town. Also, the hotel has the nicest spot on the roof for continental and Lebanese breakfast (delicious!) and has another spot on the ground floor for american style (pancakes and waffles). BF is served until 1130. 24-hour in room dining and roof restaurant, and it sometimes feels like you own the place and are just at home. The owners are on the right track to becoming number 1 in Lebanon, mark my words. Since 2018 (my first visit to the hotel) there have been some major improvements and works done throughout and it is my understanding that the work continues (they were starting to renovate the wc of a few rooms the day after we were checking out). Book it, and you will feel at home. We stayed in room 401 (spacious) for 3 days, and it was 'The Perfect Stay'.

We loved everything! From the moment we arrived Albergo had us covered, a very good taxi at a decent price for transfer from the airport (the reason I know it was a good price is because we were quoted double from another hotel!). Warm welcome from friendly attentive staff and a platter of fruit, turkish delight and rose lemonades in our beautiful room. The whole hotel is stunning and has a real old world charm, it was so relaxing coming back to this elegant haven after the bustle of Beirut. We spent quite a bit of time at the pool, the rooftop bar and the patio - all of which were perfect. The gym is small but the equipment is very new and the view is great for a quick workout. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, I loved the bath and all the high quality products supplied. The bath salts smelt of jasmine, in a wonderful ornate vase. This hotel really knows that the small touches make the difference. Honestly, we did not want to leave this place and would come back in a heartbeat!
